Mission Statement:

Nazia Hassan foundation exists to promote harmony and peace amongst communities and to encourage the fusion of values and ideas of the East and the West.

The Nazia Hassan Foundation seeks to promote interaction of ideas, values, cultures and philosophies among the young migrants and the local populations. They will be encouraged to set an example by using their energy and talent to promote cultural, social and professional fusion, promoting both closeness and the development of societies.

The Foundation will encourage volunteer programs through which volunteers from one country will be able to work in other countries, within the social service fields.

The current areas of focus of the Foundation’s development programs are:

• Helping the downtrodden
• Create support systems for children in need and providing homes for abandon children
• Spearhead and continue initiatives against drug abuse, and to promote awareness amongst the youth against the drug abuse

In her lifetime, Nazia Hassan was working for abandoned, vulnerable children who needed shelter and care. Nazia could not witness children in pain or distressed and had decided to devote her life to the cause of the innocent and helpless.

Nazia's goal was to provide stability and a secure future to children in an atmosphere of love and warmth.

The 'Nazia Hassan Homes' concept is based on bringing oppressed, shelter-less women and children together.

The foundation will provide comprehensive infrastructure including a caring mother for a small group of children, family like environment of love, trust and understanding with real sense of security and belonging.

• It seeks to be beneficial in more than one way as it will provide shelter, security and rehabilitation both to women and children.

• Children will have a mother and a family.

• The foundation will take full responsibility of the child until of age, making certain that he/she receives all the chances and opportunities that are a child's birthright.

The foundation will collaborate with other vulnerable children's service - providers of education, health, sport and vocational training of children in Nazia Hassan Homes.
